What types of luxury accessories can I sell?

We accept Handbags, Small Leather goods, Sunglasses and Shoes from brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Hermes, in good or excellent condition.

What condition should my items be in?

We only accept items in pristine, excellent, very good, or good condition. Items should be free from major defects like tears, stains, or significant wear. Be sure to clean and polish your items before sending them to maximise their resale value.

How do I list an item for sale?

At Aporiya, we offer two convenient options for selling your luxury items. You can choose to consign with us, where we will list and promote your item on our platform, or we can purchase it directly from you for cash. Simply visit the "Sell with Us" section on our website to upload the details and photos of your item. If your item meets our criteria, you'll receive an offer within 48 hours. Depending on the item, you may receive either a cash buy offer, a consignment listing price, or both.

What are the photo guidelines?

Photos should clearly show all angles, branding, labels, and any signs of wear. Avoid filters and use natural light for the best representation.

What is the authentication process?

All items go through a rigorous authentication process conducted by a team of experts. If your item is deemed inauthentic, we will notify you and it will not be listed for sale. If an item is found inauthentic, a £45 fee will apply. A £25 fee will be charged if the item's condition doesn't match the description.

What are the fees for selling?

We charge a commission fee on the sale of your item, which covers our authentication and listing services. The exact fee will depend on the final sale price of your item. Full details are available within our “Sell with Us” section on our website.

How much will I earn from my item?

Your earnings depend on the sale price. Typically, consignors earn between 70-85% of the final sale price, depending on the item's value. Please see our “Sell with Us” section of our website for our payment structure.

How are items priced?

Our pricing experts will research market trends, recent sales, and the condition of your item to determine a competitive and fair listing price. We aim to sell your item quickly while maximising your earnings.

What if my item doesn’t sell?

If your item hasn’t sold within a specified timeframe, our team will discuss alternative options, you can choose to relist it, reduce the price, or withdraw your item from our platform at no additional cost.

Do I need to include original packaging or proof of purchase?

While it’s not mandatory, including original packaging, authenticity cards, dust bags, and receipts can increase the value and appeal of your items. Be sure to send any related documents or accessories along with your items.

How do I ship my items?

Once accepted, we’ll provide a prepaid, insured shipping label with instructions (please note that this applies only to items over £500).

What happens if my item is lost or damaged during shipping?

At Aporiya, we fully cover shipments above £500, ensuring they’re securely packaged, insured, and tracked. If an item is lost or damaged, we handle the claims process. For items below £500, sellers are encouraged to use reliable couriers and consider insuring their shipments to protect their items.

Do you accept international sellers?

Yes, international sellers are welcome but are responsible for shipping and customs fees.

When will I be paid?

You will be paid via your preferred payment method (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.) once the buyer has received the item and no issues are raised. Payment is typically issued within 7 working days after the sale is finalised.

Buyer has 48 hours to declare any issues with the product once received, if no issues raised in that time seller will be paid 7 business days later.

Sell/Consign Process

1. Submit Item Details

Fill out a form with details of the luxury item you wish to
sell or consign. Provide brand, model, condition, and any authentication
documents or original packaging.

2. Receive Evaluation

Aporiya's team will review the details and evaluate the item
based on market demand, brand, and condition. You'll receive a proposed selling
price or consignment offer.

3. Item Authentication

If you accept the offer, ship the item to Aporiya or drop it
off at an authorised location. The item will undergo a thorough authentication
and condition assessment by our experts.

4. Agree to Terms

Once authenticated, Aporiya will finalise the selling price
or consignment terms, including commission rates and expected time frames for
sale.

5. Item Listing

Your item will be listed on Aporiya's platform, showcased
with professional photos and descriptions to reach potential buyers worldwide.

6. Get Paid

Once your item is sold, you'll receive payment via your
preferred method (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.) after deducting any agreed-upon
commission or fees.
